To our Summer VPK students, have an amazing experience!
For all children who are five by September 1st, 2024, summer is a great time to keep up Kindergarten excitement!
Entering Kindergarten is an essential milestone in a child's academic journey, and parents/caregivers play a pivotal role in ensuring children can be ready to succeed.
In May, ELCPBC is hosting Transition to Kindergarten Workshops in English and Spanish! These one-hour workshops are provided in-person, via Zoom, or at partner locations such as Bridges or local libraries. Families will gain useful information on school registration, developmental skills, the importance of attendance, how to support readiness during the summer, and more!
Attendees will receive a Lakeshore Transition to K backpack with materials for children to practice essential skills before Kindergarten. Transition to Kindergarten 2024 is an ongoing initiative, running between the months of May to July 2024. Stay tuned for more dates and times!
